Keeping the young audience and the zine's journal function in mind, I designed this zine's visual aesthetic to resemble a composition notebook, so that it would feel more interactive and familiar to the younger audience.
Incorporating illustrations with bright colors and culturally-relevant imagery played a major role in making this zine appeal to younger audiences.
